Our Protecting Agent

Under our protecting agent your vessels will enjoy many services like:

  • Checking proforma D/A submitted by the head agent for compliance with applicable tariffs.
  • Receipt of owners’ funds and payment to head agents
  • Reporting the vessel/cargo status, as required
  • Checking cargo documents / SOF / time sheets for correctness, notifying owner if not, and issuing letters of protest
  • Signing Bills of Lading
  • Receiving of spare parts from Airport and handling them to the vessel
  • Supply of Fresh water by Truck or Barge
  • Supply of Food stores and provision
  • Handling all crew changes.
  • Medical attendance is done through private clinics
  • Supply of Bunker when needed to your vessel

Ship Operations

We take charge of managing the ships operations on behalf of the owner to make sure that everything goes to plan.

The duties of the port agent is to bridge language barriers if there is any; the port agent takes care of all the paperwork that the ship needs to be able to dock ; if the ship requires port services like unloading of cargo, the port agent books them and they make sure there is a berthing space available and stevedores are ready for the ship at its allocated time.
